Meet the Founder

Hello Everyone,

My name is Giorgia Occhiello and I am the proud founder of Femmenas.

I was born and raised in the South of Italy and moved to the US almost 15 years ago.

As a foreign-born woman, I understand what it means to build something in a place that wasn't originally home —
navigating new systems, cultural barriers, and networks.

Femmenas was born from a simple belief:
talented women entrepreneurs deserve to be seen, celebrated, and supported. I built it as a curated marketplace highlighting brands founded by women and the remarkable stories behind them.
