An off-white crab on Mediterranean Blue, seen from above the way you would find one on the sand. Use it as a placemat or as a charger under the dinner plate. Between meals it can stay on the table, a crab waiting at each place.
On the blue ground the crab reads as a clean graphic mark, almost a stamp, and a full set carries it around the table like a pattern. White plates look sharp on it. So does a platter of grilled fish.
Each placemat is built on a structured core with a removable embroidered linen cover. The elastic edge holds the cover flat and lets you lift it off to wash on its own.
