Toscana Dragonfly Placemats in Off-White – Set of 2

The thread starts deep blue at the body and fades toward the wings, on a bright off-white ground. Use it as a placemat or as a charger under the dinner plate. Between meals it can stay on the table, the dragonfly still resting at each place.

That gradient is what gives the dragonfly its movement: it looks as if it has only just landed. On the round placemat it sits near the top edge, where a plate leaves it in view. Put the set out for breakfast on a terrace, or for lunch in the months when the real ones are over the water.

Each placemat is built on a structured core with a removable embroidered linen cover. The elastic edge holds the cover flat and lets you lift it off to wash on its own.
