Toscana Turtle Placemats in Dark Taupe – Set of 2

An off-white turtle on a dark taupe ground. Use it as a placemat or as a charger under the dinner plate, and leave it on the table between meals, a quiet mark at each place.

Dark taupe is a ground for the evening. Candlelight warms it, and the pale turtle stays clear against it long after the sun has gone. On a wood or stone table the placemat reads almost as part of the surface, until someone moves a plate and the turtle appears.

Each placemat is built on a structured core with a removable embroidered linen cover. The elastic edge holds the cover flat and lets you lift it off to wash on its own.
